Resume
A number of facts from hystory of human genetics and genetic
counseling in world and in Russia very interesting for geneticists,
pediatricians and some workers of high schools and scientists are
presented. Author describes the new models in practice of genetic
counseling, including a fundamental psychodinamic model of par-
ents behaviour, mulifactorial multistage model of decision-making
in families and a new synthetic model of genetic counseling. The
problems of effectivenes of genetic counseling on informative (ver-
bal) level just after genetic counselling session, and after5-7 years,
and on reproductive level (pregnances and their outcomes) are dis-
cussed. The evaluation criterias of genetic counseling are proposed
and own results presented.
